As a special highlight, Alice will bring her “co-stars” with her, giving you an up-close look at the Monarch life cycle through every stage: egg, caterpillar, chrysalis, and butterfly. Alice has created numerous public and private butterfly habitats throughout Fairfield County and is a passionate advocate for native plants, pollinator conservation, and biodiversity. She works with the Pollinator Pathway initiative, educates at Westport’s Wakeman Town Farm, and helps homeowners create sustainable landscapes through her business, GardenwithAlice.com. Herbs to Support Sleep

Join us for a captivating journey into the physical and spiritual properties of Skullcap, Passion Flower, and Valerian; remarkable herbs renowned for their sleep-enhancing qualities. In this 90-minute workshop we will craft an herbal tincture using the menstruum of your choice (alcohol, vinegar, or glycerin). Each participant will go home with a tincture of their own making. $35 per person. ABOUT ALYSSA With 15 years of science education, Alyssa combines her scientific knowledge with the spiritual herbalism of the Wise Woman tradition. She focuses on local, abundant plants and making medicine accessible through folk preparations and ancestral traditions. She has served for more than a decade as a Clinical Herbalist, Registered Yoga Teacher, and Reiki Master. She personally formulates all workshop remedies with integrity in her state-certified facility.
